PGHA Website is One Year Old!
Our PGHA website, www.peacockgaphoa.org, went live on September 1st, 2009. One way we can measure the relevance and success of our website is through the statistics gathered by Google Analytics. We set out to improve communication in both volume and speed and we think the numbers speak for themselves.
Between January and June of this year there have been over 2,000 visitors to our site, including over 600 unique visitors, and over 7,000 page views. On average, 25% of visits are new visits, and 30% of visitors have returned from between 50 and over 200 times (a measure of loyalty). 58% of visitors come in as direct traffic, as opposed to coming from referring sites or search engines. The highest traffic day was March 11, with 21 unique visits, and the lowest was January 2nd, with only two visits.

- 50% of visitors have come back to the site 10 or more times during the year
- 10% of visitors stay on site for more than 10 minutes on average
- 40% of visitors look at 3 or more pages per visit
During the budget-setting process for 2011, the Board may consider future enhancements to the site. For now, it’s Happy Birthday, website! You’re doing great!
